Gift of Sight: Restoring Vision, Changing Lives
The Alamo Heights Rotary Club proudly supports the Gift of Sight initiative, helping provide essential vision care to low-income and homeless individuals in San Antonio. Through this project, we collect used eyeglasses, which are then cleaned, labeled, and repurposed by I Care San Antonio.
Volunteer doctors provide eye exams and prescribe new glasses, but while patients wait for their custom lenses, they receive a temporary pair from our donated collection—offering immediate clarity and a backup option for the future.
